Vietnam ranks 28th worldwide for male beauty

China ranks first on the Grand Slam ranking for male beauty of Globalbeauties.com while Vietnam holds 28th position.

On this ranking list, Vietnam has 42.5 points based on its results at three international beauty contests for men in 2007: Manhunt International, Mister World and Mister International.

Vietnam earns 22.5 points from the Manhunt International 2008. So far, Vietnam has taken part in this contest for four times, Binh Minh in 2002, Quang Hoa in 2006, Ngo Tien Doan in 2007 and Nguyen Van Thinh in 2008. Ngo Tien Doan won the Best Body title in 2007 and this is the highest prize of Vietnam at this event.

Vietnam doesn’t obtain any points from the Mister World pageant. Model Ho Duc Vinh took part in this event in 2007 and he won the Best Traditional Costume title.

As model Tien Doan won the highest prize at Mister International 2008, Vietnam earns 20 points from this contest.

China ranks first on the list with 268.25 points, 188.25 points from the Manhunt International, 62 from Mister World and 18 from Mister International.

The top five group also has Venezuela (256.75 points), India (179 points), Brazil (173.25 points), and Lebanon (168.5 points).

In the women’s Grand Slam, Vietnam is sitting at 48th position with 63 points earned from five world beauty contests. Last year the country ranked at 55th. Venezuela tops the list.
